out local visual art talent to provide continuing
support and encouragement for our local art talent through the exposure and sale of their art work

encourage arts education with outreach programs, scholarships programs and workshops, classes and demonstrations
to develop membership services which directly
support the area arts community to seek out art patrons who will assist in our objectives.

Standards of the Meridian Artists' Co-Op:
To qualify for membership, an artist must demonstrate a dedicated
commitment to the visual arts through:
>continued production and exhibition of his/her visual
art medium and by constantly striving to educate and improve
>a
dedication to the creative community of Meridian through participation in local art events. |
IN NORTH MERIDIAN Located in North Meridian in
the Park Place Shopping Center, the gallery displays the work of member artists year-round and will host an opening reception
on the First Thursday of every April, August and December. Throughout the year, different members will
be featured as the "Artists of the Quarter" and we hope to feature 2 artists each month on our website. We
will also hold two annual events which we hope will become perennial favorites. Each Summer will
be our "Regional Show" where artists from around the Meridian area are invited to submit work to be juried
and exhibited. In the Winter of each year we hold our "Silent Auction". We also hope to feature an "Art
Challenge" Wine and Cheese Night on one Friday vening each quarter at our Gallery. For more information

Each December we will to have a "Christmas Open House" featuring seasonal art work.
