Many people do not realize how much artistic talent there is in East Central Mississippi and West Central Alabama. These pages are dedicated to changing that. For those of you who already know, we thank you for your support.

Art is an essential part of life. The emotion and enjoyment art provides enriches not only the lives of the artists, but the lives of those who come into contact with it.
Any place without art not only lacks entertainment, but also spirit; for art is nourishment to the soul.

The Meridian Artists' Co-Operative is a nonprofit organization consisting of a group of talented local artists and interested patrons dedicated to promoting the visual arts and artists in the West Alabama and East Mississippi area.

We have an eclectic mix of original art work: beaded purses, jewelry, metal sculpture, exquisite needlework, paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel and mixed media, photography, pottery, ......

Our artists are from all walks of life and offer a wide variety of subject matter and media.
